Bruce highway Cooroy – Curra Section B – DTMR Project Manager for delivery of development phase for contract 3 through carriageway finishing works and contract 4 including northern Traveston Road interchange and Mary Valley Link Road and new bridge crossing of the Mary River. Role included management and facilitation of an Early Tenderer Involvement (ETI process) for contract 4 involving three construction contractor proponents.

Detailed design, documentation and construction administration of a 57 lot subdivision. Works included road and intersection design, stormwater drainage, bio-retention basins, pavements, signage, sewerage and water reticulation, and management of landscaping and electrical/lighting design consultants.

The Outlook Estate, Bellbird Park

This project involves a subdivision of 77 residential lots. Works include the design, tender documentation and construction administration including earthworks, 1.2km of road, two at grade intersections, stormwater, water drainage, stormwater, water drainage, sewer reticulation and rock boulder retaining walls
Shoal Point Master Planned Development

The development comprises of five stages and includes the following engineering elements: earthworks, road and pavement design, intersection design, stormwater drainage, water quality devices (bio-retention basins and gross pollutant traps), sewerage reticulation, sewer pump stations and rising mains, water reticulation, footpaths and driveways.

Butler Street Realignment

This project involved the design of Butler Street, including 2 large roundabouts, roadworks, stormwater design. The project includes approximately 500m of 11m carriageway, 22m long pedestrian underpass and 700 metres of on/off alignment accessible pedestrian pathways plus lighting and landscaping.

Sunshine Motorway Upgrade (Sippy Downs Drive – Kawana Way)

This Project involved detailed specialist pavement design of full depth asphalt, high strength asphalt and granular pavement for the main carriageway, Dixon Road interchange and other location roads.

Caloundra Road Upgrade (Bruce Highway – Kawana Way)

Projex North’s commission involved specialised detail pavement design for full depth and high strength asphalt pavement for the new westbound carriageway, rehabilitation of the existing pavement and upgraded eastbound carriageway, grade separated interchanges and service roads.

Redlynch Deviation (Brinsmead – Kamerrunga Road)

Projex North was responsible for the Project management and superintendency of the $23 Million Redlynch Deviation (Brinsmead – Kamerunga Road). The works included 8m high preload earthworks and monitoring, contract administration of two major bridge projects and the detailed review and management of roadwork. The project required significant review, design advice and consultation with the Peninsula District of the Queensland Department of Main Roads.

Lynfield Drive Traffic Signals, Caboolture

Nicklin Way / Minkara Street Intersection, Kawana Sunshine Coast

Adjust intersection to modify lane configurations, and improve pedestrian access. Project under way for the Department of Transport and Main Roads.

Adjust intersection to modify lane configurations, improve skid resistance and improve pedestrian access. Project under way for the Department of Transport and Main Roads.

Butler Street / McKinnon Drive Link Road, Tewantin

Detailed design and documentation of two roundabouts intersecting the new link road with two existing intersections 1) Butler Street - Poinciana Avenue and 2) McKinnon Drive – Cullinane Street including on road cycleways and off road pathways.

Werin Street, Tewantin

Design of a new roundabout at the intersection of Werin Street and Poinciana Avenue and bike lane retrofit to Poinciana Avenue / Moorindil Avenue, including more than 2kms of accessible pedestrian pathways and crossings.

Lake Weyba Drive – Water Main

Projex North was commissioned to carry out detailed design and documentation for Water Mains on Lake Weyba Drive. The objectives of this project are to carry out water main augmentation to improve the local water network capacity to provide fire flow and pressure as per Unitywater Desired Standards of Service for residential properties.

Ballinger Road

The aim of this commission is to carry out concept design and documentation of pathway and on road cycle lanes at Ballinger Road, Buderim. The project ultimately includes layout and design of pathways and on road cycle lanes from Stringybark Road to Burnett Street (Buderim Main Street). Project covers 2 x 1.5km of onroad bikeways and 900m of 2.5m off-road bikeway. At Stringybark Road roundabout create refuge crossing through the southern splitter island. Between roundabout and Andriana Dr allow for pavement widening, table drain removal and replacement with K&C . This will require underground drainage. Utilising as much of the existing infrastructure as possible is critical to minimise construction costs and inconvenience to the public. Careful consideration will therefore be required of the existing vegetation and infrastructure, including pavements, services and existing driveways.

Bus Stop Inventory

The aim of this commission is to gather and create an inventory on bus stops across the three (3) former Council’s that now make up the Sunshine Coast Regional Council. There are known to be over 700 stops across the region. This project includes an audit and creation of an inventory of current bus stops on the Translink bus network, the Hinterland Connect bus network and the Beerwah to Landsborough bus route for DDA compliance.
